Vivalis is a cosmetics, health and beauty products manufacturer with a stable of famous brands. Its flagship brand, Collection 2000, is the fastest growing brand in the UK mass-market makeup and cosmetic category and competes with the likes of Rimmel, Maybelline, Revlon, Boots No 7 and Bourjois. SASS was briefed to support its NPD product launch programme, with the objective of helping to secure additional retail distribution and drive consumer demand.

We created a new campaign, under the 'Add It to the Collection' proposition, to communicate the brand’s 'fashion and fun' positioning. Key products launches in the face, lips and eyes categories were supported by a £1m media campaign which featured five executions. Fashion-led photography that we commissioned and art directed featured across all ads, as well as on stand in Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Asda and Morrison’s stores nationwide. Media planning and targeting focused on a shortlist of lifestyle titles, and were placed in conjunction with our strategic media partner, Mediaedge:cia.

The creative evolved throughout the campaign and the black background now remains a constant.
