Rage Games, one of the country's leading video games developers and publishers, contracted SASS to launch its high-profile title, featuring and endorsed by the most famous soccer player on the planet, on PS2, Game Boy and Xbox formats. The soccer genre title was developed with input from David Beckham, and was launched with the objective of capitalising on the Christmas gift market, rather than the hard-core gamer segment.
SASS designed the brand’s identity and packaging, and introduced the campaign concept 'Train Like Him, Play Like Him, Be Him' with a high-profile TV campaign that featured a twist to Goldenballs’ iconic facial image. High profile tabloid interest soon followed.
